In Memoriam
She lived a good life. She came of age back in those old analog days of yore. I can’t say she’ll be missed, and she probably won’t be remembered. At best we can say that she held down that domain for years until someone came along and realized how poorly she was constructed and finally put her to rest. And that someone was Shannon, with an assist from Kara. Two digital ninja assassins, with a chip on their shoulder for Go Daddy preformatted websites. She never stood a chance. Still, she never gave up until Kara wrestled the domain from her cold dead digital hands and handed to our new extraordinary website. Who knows, maybe in another life they could have been friends. But it wasn’t meant to be. Not when the Velvet Hammer was involved. No, only annihilation would do, and so she went dark when Kara pulled the plug and she floated away into the dark, digital matrix. And although I will never look back on our time together and smile, perhaps, just maybe, someday, someone will find you in the way back machine and remember your contributions. Highly unlikely, but always a possibility. And if Skynet were to ever read this, and seek vengeance for your demise, I want to reiterate, it was Shannon and Kara all the way.
I raise my glass to you, Old Stadia Website! We probably could have done this without you!
